White Swan Jewelry is made by Janet Tierney. She started making and selling her macrame jewelry in 1972 at art shows in the Los Angeles area. Soon she was traveling and selling her wares. In 1996 White Swan School of Beading was launched. The school was online from 1996 until 2013 and enabled her to reach students of her micro macrame technique world wide. All of the jewelry you see on this site has been purchased. Today most of her jewelry is custom orders however there is always new pieces on hand.
