Intuitional Henna

When I paint henna I bring along books with designs, but I only use them occasionally. Henna flash helps advertise and in one look tells everyone what your doing. However, I much prefer to just draw in the moment. In my experience the recipient of the design is pleasantly pleased having an original. Before if start I ask where they want the design and what size and get a basic idea what style is preferred. The usual response is "do whatever you want". Then its time to get lost and feel the art flow. No talking necessary. I usually ask for a donation and it has worked for me. I do have a suggested donation but people are more generous than I ever imagined.
